Before you get your panties in a bunch and cry about the sanctity of the game, it’s all in the name of charity folks.
Comedian and actor Will Farrell plans to play all nine positions in Cactus League games Thursday, shuttled by helicopter to different parks.

Bob Nightengale reported yesterday that the actor plans to play all 9 positions in one day and will take part in all 8 Cactus League games tomorrow (Thursday March 12th). Meaning, yes, he’ll have to double up in one game somewhere. The Padres are indeed on the Arizona docket as they take on the Dodgers in Peoria at 6:15PM.
*EDIT: The game will be on both Fox Sports San Diego & MLB Network and on ESPN1700AM and is the last game scheduled for the day. Perhaps where he gets his two positions in?
According to ESPN:
Major League Baseball and HBO are teaming up for a cancer awareness project, and the cable network will film the special at five different spring training venues Thursday.
No word on if he’ll play for Ron Burgundy’s home town team of San Diaaago or with those bums from L.A.. Curious if he’ll also have an alias for each team too, like good old Rojo Johnson.
